The Rotary Action Group Against Slavery connects Rotarians passionate about ending Human Trafficking/Modern Slavery, equips them with the tools they need to engage their communities, and empowers them to eradicate all forms of Human Trafficking/Modern Slavery, locally and around the globe.
RAGAS is a membership-driven organization of Rotarians that provides a platform to connect our members so they can leverage their collective skills and experiences to end all forms of human trafficking and modern slavery in their community and around the world.
We equip RAGAS members with easily accessible, relevant resources and tools on our robust website to help them create community awareness and provide prevention education internally to fellow Rotarians and to their community at large.
Empower & Engage
We empower our connected and equipped RAGAS members to engage their club, district, and the broader community to form strategic partnerships focused on ending human trafficking and modern slavery in their community and worldwide.
RAGAS and its members have completed anti-slavery projects in combination with grass root organisations such as Bachpan Bachao Andolan (India), South East Asia Coalition against Child Servitude (India), Free the Slaves (USA), RC Diocese of Allahabad and Eastern Himalayas (India), Rescue Mission for Children (Thailand), Wulugu (Ghana), Asha Nepal, Maiti Nepal and Shakti Samuha (Nepal), YouCanFreeUs (India).
